Allan
Edward Peterson, 71, born in Inglewood, California to Mary and Paul Peterson,
died in Star, Idaho of complications from diabetes. He is now resting in the
arms of the Lord.
The
Peterson family lived in various places throughout Allan's childhood, including
Alaska before
i
t achieved statehood, which was an adventure to remember. Allan
considered Lancaster, California his home town as he spent the majority of his
youth there, attending Antelope Valley schools
.
Allan
was an entrepreneur, working in various fields throughout his career. Among his
pursuits were the co-ownership of a small resort near Lake Tahoe with his
father and brother, working in the film industry in Southern California, and
later working alongside his sister in the restaurant business in Idaho.
From
2004
to
2011
Allan was the manager of Smuggler's Cove Restaurant in
Brookings, Oregon, making lasting friendships with the people of Brookings.
Residing in Star since
2011,
Allan was involved in internet businesses.
Among
Allan's passions were his five daughters, his grandchildren, his Harley
Davidson and reading anything and everything. He was and always w
i
ll be a
"
free
spirit" and will be sorely missed by everyone he knew.
Allan
was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter Kim App
l
egate.
He is survived by his daughters, Beth Martinazzi (Michael) of Fresno
,

.

Peterson-Stabenow (Dave) of Carmichael

Calif.,
Jennifer Peterson-Makar (Brian) of Sacramento, Calif. and Whitney Peterson of
Palm Springs, Calif.

He
leaves behind his grandchildren Allesandra Martinazzi, Aaron Martinazzi, Evan
Stabenow

Karley Makar and Edward Makar along with several loving nieces
and nephews.
