Angela Mary Lind

Angela Mary Lind of Boise, Idaho died peacefully on July 28, 2016. Angela was born in Meyer, Iowa, the daughter of Anton J. Wagner and Isabel Wagner on February 8, 1926. She graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing Rochester, Minnesota in 1947 and worked as a registered nurse in Minnesota, Montana, and New Mexico. On June 24, 1950, she married Arnold W. Lind. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1996.

Angela was involved in several ministries in the Catholic Church. She was a talented musician and was an organist/pianist in every parish to which she belonged. She spent many years at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos, New Mexico as the organist/pianist for the parish.

Gardening was one of her favorite hobbies. Her gardening expertise included both flowers and vegetables. She enjoyed starting these as seedlings in her greenhouse early in the year. As the plants grew, she shared them with friends.

In her retirement years, both she and her husband, Arnold, traveled a lot. They made numerous trips to Europe and traveled throughout the United States. Angela enjoyed visiting new places. After Arnold died, she continued to travel with friends. She especially enjoyed the Pagosa Springs, Colorado area.

She is survived by three sons and their families: Patrick (Cecile) Lind of Boise, grandchildren Aaron Lind and Amy (Tyrone) Overton; Bruce A. Lind of Westcliff, Colorado, grandson Colton Lind; and Thomas (Mary Lou) Lind of Boise, Idaho; and a great-granddaughter, Piper Saige Overton.

A Rosary vigil will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 3:00 pm on Monday August 15, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on August 16, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Boise, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor’s choice. The Lind family would like to acknowledge the many years of loving care to our mother provided by the staff of the Valley View Nursing and Rehab Center. The Lind family would also like to thank the Outreach Extraordinary Ministers at St. Mark’s Catholic Church for bringing Communion to Mom while she was at Valley View.
