Anne Broaddus Harris, 71, of Meridian, ID, went to
be with her Jesus on February 4, 2014. Anne was born the first time in
Portsmouth, VA and born the second time by faith in Jesus at age 25 in Durham,
NC while attending Guess Road Baptist Church.
Anne was the daughter of William E. Broaddus and
Anne Campbell Broaddus. For the past 51 years, she has been married to Robert
M. Harris Jr. of Meridian, ID. In 1996, Bob and Anne came West to serve with
Northwest Baptist Missions. She supported her husband in serving as a pastor’s
wife while in Wyoming twice as well as Nevada, Utah, Oregon and Idaho.
Anne was committed to what the Bible said for faith
and practice. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Meridian, ID.
Dear to her heart was serving at UTIBACA Bible Camp in Utah and Red Cliff Bible
Camp in Wyoming, where she cooked for the campers for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William
E. Broaddus and Anne Campbell Broaddus of Bowling Green, VA and her brother
William E. Broaddus, Jr. of Smith Mountain Lake, VA.
She is survived by her husband Bob Harris of
Meridian, ID; her children Robin A. Lehmann (Keith) of Joliet, IL; Charlotte L.
Harris of Meridian, ID and John S. Harris of Lander, WY. She is also survived
by her grandchildren Scott Lehmann, Bethany Lehmann, Tiffany Lehmann, Nate
Lehmann of Joliet, IL and Annabelle Harris of Lander, WY.
Visitation is scheduled for 3pm Monday, February
10, 2014, with a memorial service following at 4pm at Fellowship Baptist Church
