Annette Roberta Kindall, of Eagle, died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at her home.
She was born to the late Marvin & Goldie (McGlochlin) Stewart, December 24, 1921, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Annette graduated from Boise High School, and Boise Junior College, receiving a BA degree in Music Education from the College of Idaho. She went on to teach music in Buhl, Idaho before moving to Los Angeles, California where she worked for a brief time with an insurance company. She moved back to Boise just prior to her marriage to the late Leslie L. Kindall on May 24, 1947. They lived on Pierce Park Lane in Boise for the early years of their marriage before relocating to Eagle in 1958, where they purchased and worked a small dairy farm.
Annette spent her married life totally invested in her family and the community. She was actively involved in working the farm, in raising a large garden, in church music and teaching opportunities. She was never idle as she preserved her garden produce, sewed, knitted, cooked, and performed with violin or keyboard. Her greatest joys were family gatherings and she spent countless happy hours planning and cooking for these events.
Annette was an active participant in the Meridian First Baptist Church where she had many friends and family. She loved being involved in the JOY Group and looked forward each Sunday to the morning Service and Sunday School Class.
Annette is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Mr and Mrs James T Wolcott of Nampa, by her daughter and son-in-law Karen and Norman Ultis of Eagle; by her daughter and son-in-law Julia and Dean Langley currently living in Ireland; and by her son and daughter-in-law Verne and Norma Kindall of Eagle. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
