Annis L. (Erskine) Littlecook

Annis Erskine Littlecook passed away peacefully on December 4th 2024 at the age of Seventy-Four. She left behind a hell of a lot of stuff to her husband and kids that have no idea what to do with. If anyone is looking for a Piano, plastic containers, or home and garden decor please reach out. Just kidding, this is not an ad for a pawn shop but an obituary for an amazing, humorous Woman, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Annis was born on December 24th 1949 in Wenatchee, Washington. The daughter of Jack T Erskine and Donna D Erskine. She leaves behind a very dysfunctional family that she was very proud of. Annis was world-renowned for not holding back her opinion and a knack for telling you how it was. She always told the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. She either liked you or she didn’t, it was black and white with her. With that being said she had one of the biggest hearts around, she always opened her home to anyone that was in need. Her expense vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime. In her down time she would study history and music. One thing that always brought her joy was playing the piano, while she would play, her daughter Lynn would sing for friends and family. Over the years crafting became a huge hobby. Everyone in her family has received homemade hats or pot holders along with floral arrangements or jewelry. She was involved in the Eagle Fire Department as a EMT in the 80s, to this day she would tell stories of her time there and friendships that were made. After she left the fire department, she took on a role as a caregiver to many different families. She always loved being able to help and that was one of her biggest accomplishments in life. Special Ed children had such a special spot in her heart while she drove bus for them, they always brought her so much joy. Cooking was her go to, not only for family, but for many years at the Long Branch. As a family we will cherish every story, every laugh, every moment with this amazing woman. She will always have a place in everyone’s heart that she touched.

She will be sorely missed and survived by her husband Laure Alex Littlecook, Siblings: Jack Erskine, Linda Howard, Carroll Erskine and Stan Erskine, Children: Lynn and Michael Corn, Alex 2nd and Jennifer Littlecook; Christina Littlecook, Andrew Littlecook, Fernando Santos. Grandchildren: Nicholas and Sequoia Andregg; Dustin and Sharsti Moore; Rebecca and Tyler Lutz; Breanna and Miranda Corn; Issac and Katilyn Littlecook; Chase Littlecook and Ethan Church; Gavyn and Jayden Littlecook; Mason and Hayley; Ceirra and Zoe Great- Grandchildren: Olivia, Mason, Landon, Shayli, Grayson, Ryatt, Aria and Naomi. She was preceded in death by her mother Donna Nelson, Father Jack Erskine and brother George Erskine and many others. All whom loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, undying love and caring for them. A Celebration of life will be held Sunday, December 8th, 2024 at 1 o’clock at 7112 W Saxton Dr Boise ID 83714. Please send any stories or photos you want to share to Rebecca 208-912-4528.
