Arthur Eugene
Richardson, 87, of Boise, passed away on December 31, 2015 at home of natural
causes. Art was born on June 30, 1928 in Castleford, Idaho to John Henry
Richardson and Eva Marie (Cannon) Richardson. Art married Wilma D. Richardson
on December 15, 1946 in Wells, Nevada. He worked his whole career as a Truck
Driver. His interests revolved around the outdoors; including fishing, dirt
bike riding, camping and water skiing. He also enjoyed traveling.
Art is
survived by his daughters; Sandra Allen, of Boise, Diane “Annie” (Harvey) Dixon
of Boise, Linda Richardson of Reno, NV; grandchildren, Todd (Michelle) Cindell,
Casey (Josh) DesJarlais, Bryce Anderson and Stephen Dixon; great-grandchildren,
Chad Cindell, Kallen DesJarlais and Kylie DesJarlais; and his older sister Opal
Leaper (Bill) of Boise.
He was
preceded in death by his wife, Wilma D. Richardson; three older brothers and
one older sister.
A graveside
service will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, January 8, 2016, at Dry Creek
Cemetery, under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel. A reception
will be held at Smokey Mountain Pizza on Parkcenter Blvd. at 3:30 p.m.
following the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Idaho
Food Bank.
The family
