Barbara Elaine Kantola
Barbara Elaine Kantola,
age 69, of Boise, ID died Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Nappanee while visiting
family.
She is survived by her
husband, Daniel J. Kantola; sisters, Joan (Gary) Martin, Syracuse, Patricia
(Carl) Morgan, Florissant, MO, and Ruth (Gerald) Troyer, Nappanee.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents,
and her brothers, Emerson, Joseph, and Roger Stutzman,
Barbara was born March
10, 1949 in Etna Green to Eli and Catherine Stutzman.
She graduated from High School in 1967.
In 1970, she moved to Portland, OR, where she
attended Conquers’ Bible College.
She married Daniel J.
Kantola on August 25, 1972.
Together
they dedicated their lives to the ministry of God’s kingdom. Following
graduation from Conquers’ Bible College, they spent time working in United
Pentecostal Churches in Canada, Idaho, and Washington preparing for the next
phase of their journey.
In 1990, the
Lord directed them to begin a work in Boise, ID, where they served as pastorate
of Boise Worship Center Inc. for more than 25 years.
Barbara’s family and
friends will always remember her love for God, her constancy, her giving, and
her quilting.
A funeral service was
held in Nappanee, Indiana at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home for
family there.
A funeral service will be
held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Boise Worship Center
with a burial to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.
