Barbara
Theophilus O’Connor was born September 16, 1925 at Bowling Green, Kentucky, the
daughter of Donald R. and Cora Schild Theophilus. She moved as a child with her parents to
Moscow, Idaho where she received her education in the public schools and the
University of Idaho where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Education in
1948.
On August 27,
1947 she married James Patrick O’Connor in Moscow, Idaho. Upon her husband’s graduation from the
University of Idaho they moved to Boise, Idaho and subsequently Twin Falls,
Payette and returning to Boise.
All of her life
she was devoted to family. Her love and
caring is her legacy.
Survivors include
her daughter Holly Holloway, son and daughter-in-law Tim and Shirley O’Connor
and two grandsons James and Sean O’Connor.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Patrick and infant son
Mark Richard and her parents and brother Don Theophilus II.
There is no need
to mention other family and friends who love her for they know who they
are.
Barbara’s ashes
will be interred, along with her husband’s, privately in the family plot in the
Moscow Cemetery. In accordance with her
wishes there will be no formal services.
