Beverly L. Cobb, 100, of Boise, died on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at a local care facility.
Beverly was born on February 7, 1923 in San Diego, California to Joseph W. Vanderford and Myrtle Rose (Jackson) Vanderford.
She graduated from Compton High School. She lived in San Diego, CA, Compton, CA, Downey, CA, and in 1985 she moved from Long Beach, California to Boise, ID.
Beverly worked for Bank of America, National Cash Register (NCR, Gulton Industries, and was the Executive Secretary to the Innkeeper for Holiday Inn Hotels. She enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles, going to church, spending time with church brethren, and taking long walks. She was a member of the church that she always enjoyed going to each and every week. Beverly loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing the piano. She especially loved playing “Beautiful Dreamer” and “Deep Purple.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gordon, Kenny, and Don, sister Mary, and grandsons, Rick and Steven.
Beverly is survived by son Edward of Boise, daughter Karen of Nampa, sister Gloria of Banning, CA, grandsons Mike of Boise, Matt of Klamath Falls, OR, and several nieces and nephews.
