Carol Dowd, 73, of
Boise, Idaho, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013, in Boise of
natural causes.
Carol was born January 1940 in Washington, DC, to Charlotte E. Adams and Fred A.
Beale. She graduated from Northwestern
High School in Maryland in 1958. In
December 1959, Carol married Thomas Dowd in Washington, D.C. They lived in Maryland before making Idaho
their home.
Carol retired from
the Federal Government after working for the Bureau of Reclamation for 28 years.
Her hobbies were crocheting
and flower arranging.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Sharon Carr, Idaho;
son-in-law, Mitch Carr, Colorado;
grandson, Michael Carr, Washington;
and granddaughter Andria (Carr) Watson and her husband, Travis, North
Carolina. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Thomas Dowd, a sister, Joan Hyer, and her parents.
