Caroline Eleanore Martindale, 79, of Nampa, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at home of natural causes.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
Caroline was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on January 11, 1932, the daughter of Elmer and Emma Ferris Lang. At an early age she moved to California where she grew up and received her education. Caroline was married to Herbert Martindale on June 28, 1949. To this union were born two children, Starla and Rusty.
Caroline was a waitress in various places before becoming a business owner with her husband in 1983.
Survivors include a daughter, Starla Haynes; a son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Linda; grandchildren, Jennifer (Richard) Mather, David (Laura) Perry, Sarah (Dave), Katie, Josh, Robin, Tyler, and Jayson (Andrea); and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob, Caroline, Drake, Keaton, Kaydence, Madisyn, Jacobi, Bella, Ava, Maycee, Trey, Ryan, Misha, and Lexi. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, son-in-law, Rex Haynes, and brothers, Ralph and Jackie Lang.
