Carolyn B. Niemann, 82, of Boise, died Monday, April 25, 2022, at home of natural causes. Carolyn was a loving wife and mother, and an awesome domestic engineer.
Carolyn was born on September 20, 1939, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, one of ten children of Dan and Charlotte Cox Hendrix.
On June 1, 1958, she married Robert E. Niemann in Prineville, Oregon. After 42 years of marriage Robert passed away on July 23, 2000.
Carolyn and Robert loved fishing and doing things outdoors together. She was afraid of the water, but she loved the boat because she was with her loving husband and best friend. She loved working in her gardens, enjoying her flowers, especially her roses. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, and writing. Her handwriting was impeccable, and she very much enjoyed doing research for her family. She was very interested in working on her family tree.
Carolyn was a lifelong member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her three children, Richard Niemann of Meridian, Steve Niemann of Boise, and Cheryl Parker of Meridian; her siblings John Hendrix, Martha , Earl Hendrix, Charlie Hendrix and Janice Roberts; her grandchildren, Jennifer Niemann, Jessica Niemann, Chris Jones, Carrie Vickers, Robert Parker, and William Rodrick Bartlett III; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Parker, Raegan Vickers, Thatcher Jones, Aneita Huber, Mackenzie Perryman, and Lily Perryman.
Carolyn took her job as Mom, Grandma and Mother-in-law seriously and provided unconditional Love and Support to all those who were a part of the family be it by blood or by love.
There will be a viewing on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Morris Hill Cemetery.
