Carolyne Fearnley Walton passed away Saturday, December 6th,
after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis and more recently complications
from a broken hip. Born Carolyne Mae Martin in Rupert Idaho on September 28th
1931 to Phil and Grace Martin. She grew up in Rupert, Oakley Idaho, and Wells
Nevada among other areas in southern Idaho and northern Nevada along with her
brother James. Moving to Boise in the early 50's she worked in the banking
industry and met her first husband, Walt Fearnley, there in 1955. She was a
homemaker raising their two boys, Kelly and Casey, until going back to work
full time in the 1970's. After Walt's passing in 1985 she continued working
until she met and married Bruce Walton in 1990 and moved to Emmett. She
made her home north of Emmett with Bruce and his family for the past 24 years.
She is survived by her husband Bruce, son's Kelly, Danny, Tracy, and Brad;
daughters Vicki and Meri Lou and all their families, including 24 grandchildren
and 63 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and
Grace, and her brother Jim, son's Casey Fearnley, Jerry Walton, and daughter
Connie Keller.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, at the LDS
Church in Letha Idaho. A viewing will be held for one hour prior to the
funeral. A graveside committal service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, at
Dry Creek Cemetery Boise. Funeral services
are under the direction of the Alden Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise.
