Chad Doell, 50, of Boise, died Friday, November 1, 2013, at
home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday,
November 9, 2013at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chape.
Chad was a committed father, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was known by many as a man who had a deep passion for the
outdoors. He spent many days fishing and
hunting with family and friends. His
passion for Archery led him to be a member of the Treasure Valley Bow Hunters
of Idaho where he volunteered time to further the traditions of bow
hunting. Chads willingness to help
people is the reason for all the special friendships he had, he always had time
for everyone in his life. Chad had an
ability to make friends anywhere. He
could bring out the best in everyone. He
had a comedic side that could bring a smile to any face. He was a doer, a thinker, an inventor, who
had a fix for every problem. He was
willing to try almost anything even if failure was imminent. He was a generous man who loved the outdoors,
scuba diving, working with model airplanes.
He will be missed the most by his best friend and son,
Joe. The two of them had an inseparable
bond and spent many days together. The
time spent mentoring will be a lasting legacy for generations to come.
A special thanks to Toni Doell. Her commitment to always partnering with
Joe's development and Chad's health will never be forgotten and greatly
appreciated.
He will be deeply missed and love forever.
Survivors include his son, Joey; mother, Sally; step-father, Arthur; sister, Tori;
brother-in-law, Tracy; black lab,
Rascal, all of Boise, Idaho; the
VanDouen family of Boise and the Miya families;
and multiple friends and family from all over the United States. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean
Doell, grandmother, Linda Roberts, and father-in-law, Joe Malberg.
