Charles Anthony “Chuck”
Neitzel was born in
Cleveland, Ohio to Edward K. Neitzel
and Carrie H. Broz on March 26, 1936. Chuck
passed away on May 14, 2012 at his home in Boise, Idaho.
Chuck joined the United
States Air Force on January 29, 1954 at the age of 17. He later became “crew chief” for the B-47
Bomber.
He married Anna Kay Bronson,
Council, Id. on January 17, 1958. They had two sons, Edward and Kenneth
Neitzel. They lived in Boise where Chuck
had his business, aka: “Chucks Pit Stop”
where he worked as an auto mechanic for 42 years. Chuck and Kay were married until her passing
on March 31, 1993.
Chuck had an extreme passion
for racing until the day that he died.
He enjoyed working and helping friends with their racing endeavors as
well as remembering his “fame” from the eighties. He is a “Hall of Famer” at the Meridian
Speedway and holds a track record there as well. He and his son contributed to two world
records at the Bonneville Salt Flats. He
cherished so many “racing memories” with so many great people.
Dad, we proudly hang the
checkered flag for you here on earth as well as in heaven. We thank you for all that you were and we
will forever love and miss you.
For each and every one of you
who knew and loved him, we thank you for being such an important part of his
life.
Survivors include: A Son, Kenny Neitzel, Meridian, Id., (Heidi
Neitzel),
3 Granddaughters, Lexey L.
Neitzel, Whitney K. Neitzel & Journi R. Neitzel. Two Brothers, Burton Neitzel, Parma, Ohio,
and Richard Neitzel, Boise, Id. , (Judy Neitzel). Two Sisters, Karleen Goloboff, Parma, Ohio and
Theresa Molkentin, Fl. (Thomas)

He is preceded in death
by: Sister, Patricia Ann Neitzel, Son,
Edward K. Neitzel, Brother In Law, George Goloboff and his wife, Anna K.
Neitzel.
In Lieu of flowers the family

Meridian, Idaho 83642.
A memorial service is
scheduled for Thursday, May 24
th
at 10:30 a.m. at Alden-Waggoner
Funeral Chapel. A full military honors
service will also be held at the Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
