Charlotte D. Stotler, 92, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 7th, in the Alden-Waggoner Chapel. Burial will follow immediately at Dry Creek Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Holland of the Center for Spiritual Living will officiate.
Charlotte was born May 24, 1924, in Pocatello, to Mark William and May Violet Dyett. She completed elementary and junior high school in Pocatello. She graduated from high school in Boise. She worked as a legal secretary for Paul S. Boyd until her retirement. She was a member of the Secretaries Association.
Charlotte was a beloved member of the community, who enjoyed socializing and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She enjoyed playing bridge, modeling, travel, and spending time with her family and friends. She was actively involved with animal and human rights; a member of Greenpeace and AlleyCat Allies.
She married Robert E Stotler in Winnemuca, Nev on June 26, 1946.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Will Schubach of Boise, Idaho and a granddaughter Angela S. Lankford of Boise, Idaho. In addition to her husband, she is proceeded in death by her 3 sisters Geneva Daley, Dorothy Longson, and May Nowland.
Memorials may be given to Conrad Strays or the Alzheimer’s Association.
