Danette Sharon Thompson, 57, passed away Thursday succumbing
to breast cancer.
She was born as the fourth of five siblings to the late
Thomas and Pauline Dowling, July 23
rd
, 1957, in St. James, Long
Island NY. Danette spent most of her
early years between Fallon, Nevada and Payette, ID. She moved to Boise, ID with her family in
1982 and enjoyed the rest of her life there.
Danette graduated with a degree in Social Work from Boise State
University in 1992. After working in the
field for many years, while taking care of her family, she went back to earn
her Masters Degree in 2010.
Danette largely worked with people of special needs; she
spent many years working in child protection, working with underprivileged
youths, the mentally ill, and just about anyone else who might need a little
help. She was known as someone who
profoundly cared about others and would do anything to help her clients,
friends, and family. All who knew her

she continues to have for all of us.

Tanya Perkins, of Boise, ID; two grandchildren: Victoria and Araya; and two
siblings: David and Renée.
Services will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, December 20
