David Dennis "Dave" Marlow August 21, 1944 ~ July 4,2011
Dave was born in Aberdeen, WA on August 21, 1944 to Dennis and Marie Marlow. Dave was the "baby" of the family.
Dave was a wonderful and caring guy and he loved everybody, always going out of his way to help. He went by Dave but most called him Uncle Dave or just plain "Unc." He married his high school sweetheart, Karen Smith, on June 13, 1964 in Hoquiam, W A. We just celebrated our 47th anniversary!
We had two beautiful children, Jeff and Stephanie and we are blessed with two wonderful grandchildren: Tristan (8) who will always remember Grampa for teaching him how to fish up in Cascade, and Anaisse (5) She and Grampa loved to read books together. Dave and Karen always felt blessed for these "kiddos" as we called them; they are the sparkles in our eyes. The memories are endless! Dave loved to golf, he always said he wasn't very good but it was all about the fun with friends.
There are lots of wonderful stories to tell about Dave but he wouldn't want me rambling on ..... ! "My Love, I will always cherish our years together, all the fun things we did, all the places we traveled, all the fun we had alone "together.” I will love you for eternity and you are always in my heart and on my mind. I will never forget you! "
Dave leaves behind his adoring wife, Karen, loving daughter Stephanie and "favorite" son-in-law, David Eclaircy and their two beautiful children, Tristan and Anaisse; brother, Ron Marlow and Barbara of Hoquiam, WA; nephews, Steve Marlow and his family, Diana and Daniel of Boise, ID, and Michael Marlow and his family, Barbara, Courtney, Jeffrey and Haley of Pullman, WA; nieces, Katherine Marlow and Kaitlin of Issaquah, WA, Diana Paul and her family, Wilby, Kyle, Kaylee and Ryan of Lewiston, ID, and Linda Marlow-Herron of Lacey, WA, Dave also leaves behind a countless world of loving friends, as we all know Dave never met a stranger.
Dave is preceded in death by his son Jeffrey, parents, Dennis and Marie Marlow, a sister, Ellen, and his brother Jerry.
Thank you to all our wonderful family and friends for their support and love. It will be a very long and hard journey without Dave, but with you close by it will be a bit easier. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! Thank you also to the doctors, nurses and staff in CCU at St. Luke's RMC, Boise. Their friendship and compassion helped us through a very difficult time.
