Diana G. Keefer

Diana G. Keefer, 74, of Boise, died on Friday, April 21, 2023, in a local assisted living home. She was born in Portland, Oregon on July 24, 1948 to Edwin Genther and Betty May (Birkinbine) Genther.

She attended Boise High School and graduated in the first Capital High School Class of 1966. She married the love of her life Jack Corbett Keefer on August 25, 1968 in Boise. Together they lived in Boise, Twin Falls, Nampa and El Paso, Texas.

Diana’s hobbies included playing golf, camping and fishing. She enjoyed all types of crafting, sewing and above all spending time with family and friends.

She was a member of the Heritage Bible Church in Boise. Diana was also Idaho Preceptor Laureate Theta Sorority, and she was a member of the Terrace Lakes Recreation Ranch of Garden Valley for thirty plus years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Diana is survived by her husband, Jack Corbett Keefer of Boise; daughter and son-in-law Tiffany Dawn Clark and Joshua Clark of Idaho Falls; daughter Shana Noel Keefer of Lake Stevens, Washington; and grandsons, Gabriel F. Clark and Jacob C. Clark of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Diana’s name to a charity of your choice.

A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
