Dollie Byrd, 91, passed away peacefully on
Friday, April 13, 2012 at her home in Boise of natural causes.
She was born November 8, 1920, in
Clarksburg, West Virginia to Martha (Sprouse) and Seibert Elliott.
Dollie married Bruce Byrd on September 12,
1936 and moved to Idaho in the late 1940’s. She loved to go fishing with her
family. Many weekends were spent in the mountains. She also like to garden. She
tried so hard to keep the plants happy and Blooming. The winters were spent
reading and doing puzzles.
Time spent with here family was the
happiest for Dollie. She also liked yard sales, loved good conversations, and
going out to eat.
Dollie is survived by her daughters,
Gladys Byrd and Darlene Stewart; two grandsons, David and Michael Stewart; and
five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00
p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012, at Cloverdale Cemetery. Viewing for family and
friends will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Alden-Waggoner Funeral
Chapel, 5400 Fairview Ave.,
