Donna Lee Cobbs

Donna Lee Cobbs, 90, of Boise, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Donna was born on October 17, 1933, in Denver, Colorado to William Russell and Vivian Evelyn White. She was the eldest of 5 girls, Norma Gan, Doris Tallman, Elaine Robinson & June Hillis. She lived in Colorado, Oregon and Texas before settling in Idaho as a young adult.

She married Lyle R. Cobbs on April 9, 1954 and had 4 daughters. She enjoyed 58 years of marriage to this very special and beloved man.
She completed her registered nursing degree while the children were young. She was a long-time member of University Christian Church. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, nurse, artist, decorator, gardener, antique collector, and excellent cook. She brought love to those around her and held strong and true to her Christian beliefs. She will be truly missed.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy Miller (Greg) of Eagle, Diane Amen of Boise, Kathryn Boling (Ben) of Nixa MO; and Lyla Croft (Lee) of Eagle, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, sisters Doris Tallman of Boise and June (Jerry) Hillis of Twin Falls, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2012, granddaughter, Michelle Vickrey, sisters, Norma Gan (Ben)& Elaine Robinson (Earl), brother-in-law, Robert Tallman, half brother, Maylon Ames, niece, Lori Tallman.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Paramount Parks and Lighthouse Hospice in Eagle for the 2 months of devoted care as well as 8 months of wonderful care from Horizon Health.

Viewing will be at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Home Home on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 5 pm- 7:30 pm. Private family services will be held on February 6, 2024.
