Donna L. Coyle, 70, of Boise, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012, in a local care center. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 31, at 11:00 a.m., at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise.

Donna was born on April 2, 1942, in Memphis, TN, to Robert D. McGregor and Margie L. Lyons. She attended grade school in Siletz, OR, and graduated from high school in Portland, OR. In 1960, Donna moved from Siletz to Caldwell to be with her father. While on a deer hunting trip in the Owyhees with her family, Donna became acquainted with her future husband Gaylord Coyle. They were married on Nov. 29, 1960 in Caldwell. Donna worked in medical records at St. Al’s and Boise Samaritan Village. She was a member of the Lutheran Brethren Church in Nampa, ID. She loved traveling in their R.V. to the Oregon Coast, camping in the Sawtooth Mountains, and browsing around the yearly Flea Market in Sumpter, OR, and was always looking for a bargain. Donna loved life and her family always came first. No matter what problem or trouble the family could count on Donna to listen and guide without judgment. She was a hard working wife and mother, who always made sure her family was provided the best possible life, both as children and adults.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her half brother Billy Reeves.

She is survived by her husband, Gaylord W. Coyle of Boise; son, David and daughter-in-law Kim Coyle of Meridian; son, Wayne Coyle, of Nampa; granddaughter, Christin Foster, and great-grandson, Mason Foster; grandson, Mathew Coyle, and great-granddaughter, Steelie Coyle; grandson, Ian Coyle; granddaughter, Kellisa Reed, and great-granddaughters, Courtney, Nola and Kya; and granddaughter, Chloe Fritz.
Memorials may be made to St. Lukes MSTI, or St. Luke’s Hospice.
