Douglas Wayne Bowers

Douglas “Doug” Wayne Bowers,65, passed away surrounded by family March 13, 2025.

Doug was born July 7th 1959 the fourth of seven boys to Melvin and LaVonne Bowers in Nampa Idaho. Doug was raised in Marsing Idaho and was proud of his home town. He loved archery, hunting and spending time in the mountains with his best buddies at Lost Lake.

Doug married the love of his life Darla Perry on March 11, 1978 and shared 47 wonderful years together. He was a devoted husband and family man. Doug and Darla had two beautiful daughters Kristy Webb (Justin)and April Helms (Steven)and 2 grandsons Tyler and Taven Webb.

Doug was raised in the Followers of Christ church and believed his whole life. Doug was a dedicated hard working man who always provided for his family. He spent numerous years with Coca Cola, Wonder bread and recently retired from Treasure Valley Coffee. Doug was kind, generous, and could fix almost anything. He always brought a sense of humor to the room. All who loved and knew Doug will cherish all the memories made with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Bob, Jeff, and Stevie.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Star Cemetery.
