Dwayne Darrell Hines II, 55, of Boise, died Monday, February 29, 2016 at home.
Dwayne was born January 2, 1961 in Nampa, Idaho, the son of Dwayne Darrell Hines and Barbara Ailshie (Hines ) Mordhorst.
Dwayne spent his early years in Nampa, graduating from Nampa Christian High School. He then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree from Boise State University. On February 14, 1999, Dwayne married Janet Brant in a ceremony at the Boise Depot. They were divorced in 2015.
He worked for many years at the Idaho State Tax Commission as the Bureau Chief of the Property Tax Division.
Dwayne enjoyed writing and weight lifting. He combined both interests by publishing several articles on fitness. Dwayne was much loved and had a great impact on many lives through the years. His passion was his boys, fitness, his bible, and telling others about his great GOD! He will be so missed!
He was a member of Heritage Bible Church.
Dwayne is survived by his sons, Connor and Dominic Hines and their mother, Janet Hines, all of Boise; his mother, Barbara Mordhorst and Bob Mordhorst of Nampa, ID; a brother, Steve Hines of Anderson, CA, a sister, Angie Robarts and her husband Darren Robarts of Kuna, ID, a brother, Gary Hines and his wife Susan Hines of Salem, OR. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jessica Hines, Josiah Robarts, Spencer Hines, Isaac Hines, Jacob Robarts, Jonathan Hines, Tristan Hines, Lauren Hines, Alexander Putman, and Sarah Miller and her husband Jeff; and a great niece Audrey Miller. Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Darrell Hines.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Heritage Bible Church, 7071 Emerald St., Boise. A private burial will take place at Meridian Cemetery under the direction of the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
