Earl M. Moon passed away October 29, 2011 after a long and
courageous battle with cancer
.
He was born June 24, 1930 in Frontier, Wyoming. Earl married his
High School sweetheart, Ivy Rose on November 30, 1949 after having completed
basic training in the United States Navy.
He served his country faithfully for 25 years becoming a Master
Chief Petty Officer and receiving countless medals and awards.
After Earl's Naval retirement he worked for the United States
Postal Service in Boise Idaho.
His favorite past times included hunting and fishing with his
sons creating irreplaceable memories.
A gentleman and a scholar, beloved by friends and family alike;
Earl's presence on earth will be missed exponentially by his
children,
Greg, Sherri, Mike and Connie Moon; their children and
grandchildren.
He is also survived by his older brother Zane Moon of Nevada,
and was preceded in death by his parents James and Alice Moon, his sister Wanda
Waid and loving wife Ivy.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, from 1-2 p.m.,
at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise. Graveside services will follow at 3
p.m., at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
