Elinor Grace
Mark, 81, of Meridian, passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2012. Elinor was born Nov. 16, 1930 to James and
Lucille Marie Miles in Los Angeles, CA.
She married George V. Mark on March 8, 1952. They raised their 3 children David, Dennis
and Debbie in Fullerton Calif. Her joy
in life was baking. In her baking career
she had the privilege of baking and decorating 500 individual cakes for Donald
Duck’s 50
th
birthday on behalf of the famed “Club 33”at
Disneyland. In 1988 George and Elinor
retired and moved to Idaho. Once in
Idaho she opened her own bakery called El’s Bakery where she enjoyed making
candy, cakes and was famous for her cheesecakes. Elinor’s other hobby was knitting. Among knitting hats and scarves for family
and friends, she knitted hats for the 391
st
Soldiers before their
last deployment. She also knitted hats
for newborn babies at St. Luke hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband George and oldest son David. She is survived by her daughter and best
friend Debbie Hubbard, her son Dennis, son-in-law Jim Hubbard, daughter-in-law
Kim Mark and daughter-in-law Holly Mark.

A celebration of her life will be held (today) Tue, June 19 at 5pm at
her home at 2990 S. Locust Grove Rd, Meridian.
