Ellen
June Anderson went home to be with her Lord, husband and son on February 13,
2013.
The
oldest daughter of Clarence Waldvogel and Letha Newland, she was born on April
27, 1923 in Stockton, CA. A graduate of Bell High School and a majorette, she
formed and led a drill team that performed in many activities and parades. It
was here as she was strutting down the street one day, she caught the eye of
her future husband, Edgar Ray Anderson. Ed soon joined the Marines and while Ed
served, June worked at Flintcoat Box Factory and Thermador Electric where they
made bomb casings. June and Ed were married on April 24, 1943. They were
blessed with three
s
ons.
When
the family moved back to Idaho, June managed Tandy leather Company and later
American Handicrafts. Here she taught many classes on crafts, in store, and at
public schools. She was very talented. Her hobbies included, ceramics, doll
making and collecting and creating beautiful jewelry with her sisters. Her
family and friends have many of her creations to treasure and remember her by.
June
was a member of Star Brethren Church.

will be missed by many, she leaves behind her sons, Terry (Sharon) and Wayne
(Linda) and her late son, Denny

s wife, Patti Anderson of
St. Francisville, Louisiana, and her twelve grandchildren and nineteen great
grandchildren and her two sisters, Wilma Bevington (Wilson) of Boise, Idaho and
Opal Harris of Arizona.
Services
will be held at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel on Fairview in Boise, Idaho on Friday,
February 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held on Thursday, February
21, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made
to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
