Hoskins, 84, of Boise, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012, in a local care
center. A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 6-8 p.m., at
Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise. Graveside services will be held on
Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 3 p.m., at Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise.
Elton was
born on July 27, 1927, in Earlham, Iowa, to Wilbur and Inez Andrew Hoskins. He
was educated in Pomona, California. On April 18, 1948, Elton married OIive
Brunson in Otterbein, California. His hobbies included lapidary and silver
smithing. He also enjoyed photography, hunting and fishing.
Elton is
survived by his wife Olive Hoskins, of Boise; son, Tom Hoskins (Renee) of
Aloha, Oregon; son, Jerry Hoskins (Becky) of Hallsville, Missouri; daughter,
Cindy (Milo) Elston, of Boise, Idaho; seven grandchildren, Thomas Elton Robert,
Katherine Pearl Inez, Scott, Mallory, Stacie, Melisa, and Trina; fourteen
great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey Hoskins (Maxine) of Yuma, Arizona.
