Ethel Jean McRoberts, 60, passed away on July 16, 2012 in Boise, Idaho surrounded by her loving family.  Ethel was born on April 1, 1952 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho and remained a lifelong resident of Boise.  After high school in 1970, she met the love of her life, Steve McRoberts of Boise.  They married on July 10, 1971 and recently celebrated their 41 st anniversary together.  In 1975, Ethel starting working for St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise as a housekeeper and eventually retired as a receptionist at the Micron Health Clinic after working for St. Al’s for over 32 years.  Ethel loved to bake, crochet, play with her grandchildren and decorate her home every holiday, especially Christmas.  She was genuinely sweet, compassionate and loving and brightened up any day with her contagious smile.  Ethel is survived by her husband of 41 years Steve, her son Cody (Teresa), daughter Kellie (Matt), brother Mike (Kathy), sister Cathy, sister Roberta (Jody), brothers-in-law Keith (Jennifer) and Ken (Gigi), step mother-in-law Betty, grandchildren Josh, Cassie, Syvanna, Lanie and Madilyn, and many other loving family members and close friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Ethel Williams, mother Jewel Weatherly, grandchildren Angela, Alyssa and Isaiah and in-laws Ellis and Harriet McRoberts.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2012 at Alden Waggoner Funeral Chapel on Fairview Road in Boise, Idaho followed by graveside services at Dry Creek Cemetery.  A viewing will be held between 2:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 22 at Alden Waggoner.  Steve, Cody and Kellie would like to thank the staff at Heart N Home Hospice and St. Alphonsus for their kindness and thoughtfulness towards Ethel.  To share memories with the family, please visit Ethel's Facebook page.
