Eugene

westward for a month, finally climbing aboard a train, they reached the German
border at great risk to both their lives. Their Mother thought they had been
killed, then came a letter telling her Stan had made it to Canada and Eugene
had made it to the United States. Eugene served in the US Army
during the Korean War. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1955, where
he served for 22 years. He married Betty J. Moore December 12, 1958, who was
also in the Air Force at Offutt AFB.
