Faye Ramey passed away peacefully Saturday, September 10, 2016 at home.
A memorial service will be held for Faye at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 17th at Bridgepoint Church, 2530 S. Broadway. Pastor Jeff Love will officiate, followed by a private interment at Morris Hill Cemetery.
Faye was born to Leroy Lloyd and Ida Louise (Smith) Milliken in Boise, Idaho on October 27, 1949. She graduated from Boise High School in 1968 and attended Boise State University studying Social Work. Faye lived in Boise her whole life.
Faye married Thomas W. Ramey on April 27, 1984 in Boise. She was an active member of Bridgepoint Church, where she was baptized in 1985. She taught Awana and worked in the nursery.
Faye worked for thirty-eight years as a clerk (HOC) for Fred Meyer, most recently at the Glenwood store.
Faye is survived by her husband, Tom; son, Joey (Marie) Milliken of Brighton, Colorado; stepson, Daniel Ramey of Boise; grandson, Joseph of Brighton. She is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Waller of Boise; sister-in-law, Lou Milliken of Boise; and one niece and three nephews.
Faye is proceeded in death by her parents and two brothers, Herby and Ronald Milliken.
In lieu of flowers, Faye would appreciate a donation in her name to Manna Feeding Center in care of Bridgepoint Church.
We wish to thank Dr. Alluri and his assistant Sharon and the staff at MSTI for their loving care of Faye. Also thanks to the staff of Harrison Hope Hospice for their support and love, especially Kristi and Teri.
