Florence Erma Rinard Holton
Florence Erma Rinard Holton, 94, of Boise, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the Valley View Assisted Living Facility.
A memorial service
will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at the Alden-Waggoner
Funeral Chapel.
Florence was born
July 8, 1919, in Greenleaf, Idaho, the daughter of Conway and Erma Carter
Rinard.
She had 8 brothers and
sisters.
Florence grew up in the
Greenleaf area and graduated from Greenleaf Friends Academy.
On August 31, 1938, Florence married Floyd J.
Holton in Caldwell, Idaho.
In addition to being
a wife and mother, Florence went to school to get a bookkeeping degree.
She then worked as a bookkeeper for
Intermountain Gas Company in Payette, Idaho.
She enjoyed sewing,
flower arranging and reading and was always very interested in current events.
Florence was a
member of the Church of the Brethren in Fruitland, Idaho.
Survivors include
her daughter and son-in-law, Tom and Linda Coates, Boise;
four grandchildren, David Coates, Jason Holton,
Georgeanna Holton and Tinley Vickers;
and five great-grandchildren.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Holton and a son, James Holton.
Florence was always
there for her family and leaves a hole in all our hearts.
