Forwin K. Dodds, 94, of Boise, died on Saturday,
September 28
th
2013, in Boise. Private services to be arranged.
Forwin K. Dodds was born on February 16, 1919 in
Boise, Idaho, the son of Irwin and Mary Dodds.
He attended school in Boise, Idaho and joined the U.S. Air Force for 4
years. When he returned to Boise he
began his business career in retail sales.
Forwin met Elizabeth Ann Dodds and they were married April 17, 1955. Forwin and Elizabeth enjoyed trips to the
desert with their dogs. Both loved to
hunt bottles and rocks. They had
numerous trips to the Marsing desert and would shop for antiques. Forwin always had a story or two for those
nearby. In fact he was a great story
teller.
Survivors include son, Merrick D. Dodds; daughter-in-law,
Judith A. Dodds; 13 grandchildren and numerous relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents;
Irwin and Mary Dodds, wife; Elizabeth Ann Dodds, brother; Claire Dodds,
sisters; Gwen Goodman, Irene Parks, and Audreanna Goldberg.
