Gary E. Morford was
born in Boise, Idaho on February 15, 1943 to Madeline Lois Hedrick Morford and
Ralph Willis Morford. He died on
November 12, 2015.
Gary graduated from
Borah High School in 1962 and went to college for 6 months at BYU because of a
friend of his. After, he came home to
Boise to attend BJC.
He married Christine
Elizabeth Bonini on June 5, 1965 at First Christian Church across from BJC. They resided in Boise.
Gary had many small
jobs as a boy. He also fought forest
fires, was a logger, sold vacuum cleaners, and was an agent for Prudential from
1967 to 2011.
Some of his hobbies
included camping, hunting birds, deer, and elk, motorcycles, ATV's and
snowmobiles. He liked to build simple
birdhouses. He also loved RVing with his
wife and traveling; enjoying several trips with his dear friends Carmen and
Darrel Nagel from Oregon.
Gary was a member of
Cross of Christ. He was also in some
business organizations for a while, but eventually there wasn't enough
time. He helped his son, Tim, with boy
scouts. His main interests were his
home, family, and the outdoors.
He was preceded in
death by his oldest daughter Carrie, who died at 8 years old, his parents,
Madeline and Ralph, and his oldest brother, Bud, and Bud's son Bryan.
He is survived by his
wife, Christine, son,
T
im, daughter, Amy (Justin), and wonderful granddaughter,
Natanee.
He is also survived by one
brother, Fred in Florida, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, one nephew, most of
whom live in Boise, Meridian, or around Idaho.
Our family wishes to
extend its deepest gratitude to all of Gary's doctors and their nurses who
tried so hard to help improve his health as each new issue came upon him. Our
thanks to both St. Luke's Hospitals, Southwest Idaho Advanced Care Hospital,
and especially to Life Care of Treasure Valley, all their staff and residents
who became a second family to him; he was thankful for and loved every one of
you.

He was a kind, loving
husband, father, and grandfather, who helped anybody with anything he could. He is greatly loved and missed terribly, but
we know he is safe with Christ Jesus our Lord.
