George Cleveland Rinehart, 82, of Emmett, died on
Friday, August 1, 2014.
A memorial
service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9,
2014 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
George’s cremated remains will be placed with family, next to his
Grandfather Congleton in the Cairo, West “By God” Virginia, Masonic Cemetery.
George was born April 28, 1932 in Parkersburg, West
“By God” Virginia to Bernard F. Rinehart and Clara Inez Congleton Rinehart. After graduation from Cairo High School and
West “By God” Virginia University, George married Thelma K. Woods and had two
children. They were divorced and George
married Shirley A. Larson–Blake in McCall on November 24, 1984. Over the years, George resided in West “By
God” Virginia, Wyoming, Idaho, and Nevada.
His hobbies included fishing and guns.
George worked for the United States Forest Service, Idaho Department of
Lands, and was a private consultant.
Children and Grandchildren were his special interest
and he loved his family deeply. He was a
member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), GOP, V.F.W., and the Ski
Patrol.
George is survived by his wife, Shirley, son,
Michael (Suzanne) Rinehart, daughter, Dawn (David) Elam, Curtiss Blake Jr., and
Jamie Blake (Mark) Moeckli, grandchildren; Brooke, Melissa, Jason, Treva,
Nicole, Josh, Sean; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Ivy, Ethan, Corbin and Kiah.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents,
parents, and brother, Michael Rinehart.

Rifle Association (NRA).
