Gunelia Louise
Stueckle Fowler, 65, of Boise, was joyfully received into the arms of Jesus
Christ on Sunday, September 23, 2012, after a courageous 5 year battle against
pancreatic cancer.
Memorial services
will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Whitney Baptist
Church, 2309 Dorian, Boise, ID 83705.
Gunelia was born on
December 17, 1946 to Edwin and Anna Gunelia Stueckle. She grew up in Colfax, WA where she graduated
from Colfax High School. Gunelia married
Gerald Robert Fowler on July 11, 1965 and they settled in Boise. She was a loving wife and mother and loved
travelling, especially to Hawaii.
Survivors include
her husband, Jerry of Boise; daughter,
Lynn and her husband, Rod Howard of Coeur d’Alene, ID; son, Todd of Boise; grandchildren, David, Kayla, Cody and Jakob
of Boise; and great grandchild, Carter; brother, Terry and his wife, Michele of
Pasco, WA; brother, Roger and his wife, Judy of Pendleton and several nieces
and nephews
She will always be
remembered for her great smile and infectious laugh.
