Gus Stroozas, born on October 10, 1938 in the village of
Strooza, Greece, to John and Victoria Stroozas, passed away at age 80 on
October 31, 2018 in Meridian, Idaho. Gus was raised and completed high school
in Superior, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Army, returning to
Superior, where he married Donna Nelson. They had a son, John, born in 1970 and
a daughter, Jennifer, born in 1975. Gus lived his life as an incredible example
of hard work, humility, kindness, and generosity. He worked his entire career
in the grocery industry, loved playing and watching baseball, and was an avid
fan of the Green Bay Packers. Gus enjoyed telling stories about his amazing
life experiences, but he would light up the brightest when talking about how
proud he was of his children, their spouses, and his grandchildren. Gus was
preceded in death by his parents and wife Donna Stroozas. He is survived by his
son John Stroozas and wife Kellie; daughter Jennifer Zeltwanger and husband
Jeff; and grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jordan, and George. Friends and family can
join in a celebration of Gus’s life on Saturday, November 10

10:30 a.m. at Rockharbor Church Hub Venue, 1608 N Meridian Rd, Suite 125,
Meridian, ID, 83642. A family memorial will be held in Superior, Wisconsin
