Harold “Verne” Gohn Jr. 54, passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2013 in Garden City, ID.

Verne was born in Portland Oregon on May 8, 1959 to Harold "Verne" Gohn Sr. and Arla Haacke. He was raised in Longview/ Kelso Washington. He moved to Boise in his early twenties and soon there after met his wife Patsy Satterwhite. He and Patsy had two children Albert “Cody” Gohn and Jacob Trent Gohn. After Patsy had passed in June of 1989, he and his children moved into his house in Garden City where he was employed at a few different companies some of which include Guerdons and Peregrine Industries. His true passion though was wood working/ custom cabinetry. After being laid off he decided that he would start By Gohn which eventually evolved into Quality Remodeling. He worked long hard hours to make his business very successful.

When he was not working he loved to go fishing and camping with his children. He also enjoyed bowling and spending time with friends and family.

Verne has been fortunate to have been survived by his son Albert “Cody” Gohn Sr.and Codys sigmificant other Amanda Fry, son Jacob Gohn and grandchildren JT and Jadyn Gohn. Sister Kim Coleman, niece Michelle Gil, sister Tanya Del Toro, niece Miranda Seilbold, nephew Chris Seibold. He is also survived by his step son Shawn Maddox and granddaughter Lyla-Bay Maddox and step daughter Amber Satterwhite.

He was preceded in death by his father Harold Verne Gohn Sr., Wife Patsy Gohn,
Stepson Noland Maddox, and grandson Albert Cody Gohn Jr.

Memorial services are to be held at Alden Waggoner Funeral Chapel on June 9 2013 at 4pm. His Sons are having a celebration of life and potluck at Vernes home after the service.
