Hazel Lee Davis-Reamey, 90, of Boise, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at home with family by her side.
Mom was born the oldest of six to Gale and Elsie Davis on October 25, 1925, in Rogersville, TN. She married our dad, Elmer Reamey, in Skipwith, VA, in 1950. They were married 61 years at the time of dad’s passing on March 22, 2011. They moved all of us to Boise from Clarksville, VA in July, 1962. Mom was a homemaker all her married life after raising her siblings during her single years.
She was a member of Hillcrest Trinity Church on Boise where she shared her love of singing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, our dad, brother, Joe, sister, Sarah, and daughter-in-law, Bene.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Fred) Spangler, Ed Reamey, Carol (Rick) Chadwick, Rick (Debbie) Reamey; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2016, at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 7th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Alden-Waggoner.
