Heidi “Bear”
Nichols, 39, died on September 4, 2012. She was fortunate to have her family by
her side in Portland, Oregon.
Heidi was
born March 16, 1973, in Boise, Idaho. Heidi attended Ustick Elementary, Lake
Hazel Junior High, and Centennial High School.
Heidi
worked in retail in the Boise and Portland area. She loved helping customers
have a great experience and really enjoyed meeting new people.
Heidi
loved spending time with her family and her pets. Although she didn’t get the
opportunity to do so, Heidi always wanted to pursue a career that involved
taking care of animals. She doted on her pets with great compassion. Heidi was
very proud to be a daughter, sister and aunt. Whenever possible she would drop
everything to help out a family member. She always enjoyed a good story and a
hearty laugh. Heidi was a loyal friend to many.
Heidi is survived by her mother, Susan Rankin Anderson of Boise, her father,
Ace D. Nichols of Ogden Utah, her sister, Lisa Evans, of Boise, her brother,
Richard Joseph Warren of Boise, and her grandmother, Faun Rankin of Boise. She
is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral
service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15,
2012,
at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Ave., Boise.
The family
requests that memorial contributions be made to the Idaho Humane Society, 4775
Dorman, Boise, ID 83705.
