Forest Service Smokejumpers Squad, headquartered in
Missoula, and made the 2nd jump in the history of the organization. He married

73 years, Dorothy Taylor Alexander, in 1941 in Missoula

They moved to Yakima, Washington, where
their daughter, Denise Lynn Alexander Bittner, was born in 1950. They moved to
Boise in 1955
.
He began Intermountain Business Forms in
1960 and was active in the Capita
l
City Kiwanis and Sales and Marketing Executives of Boise.
President of his Homeowner's Associations in Boise

McCall, New Meadows, and Fearrington, North
Carolina, where they moved in 1989, Smokey and Dorothy returned to Boise in
2005
.
