James Albert “Jim” Law, 87, of Boise, passed away on
Wednesday, December 7, 2011, in a local hospital. A viewing will be held on
Sunday, December 11, from 2-5 p.m. at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400
Fairview Ave. Boise. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, at
10 a.m. at Meridian First Baptist Church, 428 W. Pine Ave., Meridian. Burial
will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.
James Albert Law was born on November 12, 1924 in Laramie,
Wyoming to James Forrest Law and Gertrude Marie Folk. Jim married Jean Hallie
Thomson on July 15, 1949, at the First Methodist Church in Nampa. Jim was
employed at Graybar Electric Company. His hobbies included building and repair
and Jim also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Jim was a member of Meridian First
Baptist Church and a board member of the Boise Rescue Mission for 50 years.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude, his
father, James and his brother, Donald (Bud) Law.
Jim is survived by his wife Jean H. Law, of Boise; daughter,
Barbara Wedman of Ketchum; son, Dennis and Karen Law of Boise; granddaughters,
Melissa and Josh Littledyke of Boise, and Lisa Wedman of San Diego, CA;
grandson, Christopher and Jennifer Law, of Cambria, CA; great-grandchildren,
Isabella, Brennen and Edward Law of Cambria, CA; and a sister, Louise Ekhoff,
of Nampa.
Memorials may be made in Jim’s name to the Boise Rescue
Mission.
