James
Kevin Moorhouse, 59, of Boise, Idaho, died Monday, July 30, 2018 at home of
natural causes.
James was
born on April 20, 1959, in Minneapolis, MN to James and Carol Bartels
Moorhouse. He moved with his family to
Boise, Idaho and graduated from Capital High School, Class of 1977. After graduation James served in the United
States Navy.
He was a
heavy construction worker, operating heavy equipment.
James
loved spending time with family, friends and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing,
gardening, camping and watching sports.
Survivors
include his daughter, Holly Moorhouse-McCane, Boise; granddaughter,
Caitlin Moorhouse, Boise; grandsons, Jadyn McCane and Ethan McCane,
Boise; parents, James H. Moorhouse and Carol M. Bartels Moorhouse,
Boise; sister, Pamela Sawyer and her husband, Steve,
Meridian; brother, Greg Moorhouse and
his wife, KayLynn, Meridian; niece,
Jennifer Sawyer, Seattle, WA; nephew,
Bradley Moorhouse and his wife, Elly, Washington, D.C.; and nephew,
Shawn Moorhouse, Meridian; and
his step-son, Brian Gensler of Boise. He
was preceded in death by his grandparents and his son-in-law, Jarmey
McCane.
A
committal service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday,
September 7, 2018 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
