Jane Walker Jordan, 68, of
Boise, Idaho, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday,
February 13, 2012, due to complications from leukemia.
She was born on March 7,
1943, in San Angelo, Texas. Jane was a determined, fun-loving, charismatic
woman who enjoyed serving and helping others. Earlier in life, with her first
husband, Bryce, Jane was involved in many causes including politics, the
community, and several callings in the LDS church. Later in life, she traveled
extensively with her second husband, Frank, teaching and doing workshops on
spiritual growth and development. She was a very giving person and devoted
nearly 30 years of her life to the spiritual counseling and healing of others.
Jane enjoyed writing,
gardening, and had a full appreciation for the earth and the beauty it offers.
Her energy and optimism made her the devoted cheerleader of her children and
grandchildren. She loved to cheer for the BSU Broncos, frequently laughed until
she cried, and experienced every day the fullness of life.
Jane is survived by her
husband of 28 years, Frank Jordan; four children from her prior marriage,
Leland, Matthew, Laurel and David; four step-children, Joseph, Pamela, Cynthia
and Jenée; eleven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; and one
step-great-grandchild.
A memorial service in Jane’s honor
will be held at Alden-Waggoner Funeral
Chapel, 5400 Fairview Ave., Boise, on Saturday, February 18, at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
