The Lord called Jeanette home much too quickly and much too
early, leaving us heartbroken and lost.
She passed away March 23, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. The daughter of
Andy and Sally Cappel, Jeanette was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on October 3
rd
1963.
After graduating from High School, Jeanette was employed at
several restaurants, and grocery stores, culminating with her selection as
Assistant Manager of Ridley’s Market in Boise. Shortly after marrying Brent Knutson,
the Air Force sent them to Rhineland Pfalz Germany
.
While there, they
traveled, embraced the culture, and made lifelong friends. Upon returning to Boise, Jeanette found her
true calling, caring for the elderly and infirm as a home health care provider. She was dedicated to providing comfort and
enriching their lives. On April 22, 1998
her daughter, Hailey, was born. Hailey
was her only child and the joy of her parents’ lives. There are no words to describe the depth of
Jeanette’s love and pride for Hailey.
That connection, created over the last 14 years, created an eternal bond
that can never be broken.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her father George (Andy)
Cappel, grandparents George and Eileen Cappel, and Lial and Dollie Whaley and
her father-in-law, F. Brent Knutson. She
is survived by her husband Brent Knutson and their daughter Hailey, mother
Sally Cappel, and brother Doug, her aunt and uncle Susan and Steve Henderson
and cousins, Anna and Christopher, her in-laws, RuthAnn and Marc Arnold and her
step mother-in-law Roslyn Knutson,
brother-in-law Nathan Kaplan and sister-in-law Susan Emily Vaughn. Jeanette leaves behind many friends in Boise
whose presence enriched us all.
There will be a Memorial Service Saturday, March 30
th
,
at 1 p.m. at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Alex
Chamberlain. The family looks forward to
celebrating Jeanette’s life by sharing stories, anecdotes and memories with
family and friends. She left us too
soon, but Jeanette will remain in our hearts forever.
