Jeff was born September 10, 1966 in Bozeman, Montana,
to Diane Corder Fisher and Terry Corder. He joined his family in Heaven on
December 9, 2018.
Jeff attended schools in Boise, Idaho, and graduated
from Boise High School in 1985. While attending Boise High he was an honor
student and was a member of Key Club, serving as governor of the Utah-Idaho
Chapter. He participated in gymnastics, and won a medal in rings at the state
championship. Jeff was active in Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout at age
14. He spent many hours working on his headdress and meeting other requirements
towards the Order of the Arrow. Jeff was camp counselor for several summers at
Boy Scout Camp in McCall while in high school. Also during high school he
attended classes at Boise State University and earned certification as a CNA.
He worked at the VA Nursing Home for 2 years after attaining certification.
Jeff also worked at Alexander's Men's Store and Cafe Ole during his high school
years.
After graduation he attended Boise State University and
chose a career in the restaurant/hotel business. During his career he served as
manager of several local restaurants and as manager and training supervisor of
Red Lion Hotels/Restaurants throughout the northwest. He worked in the
hotel/restaurant industry for 23 years when sudden illness forced him to
retire. After his illness progressed, Jeff moved in with his father who took
care of him until his death. Words can't express how grateful the family is to
Jeff’s dad for the dedicated, loving care he gave. Jeff loved watching the BSU
football games with his dad and being with his dogs and cat.
He is survived by his mother, Diane Fisher; father,
Terry Corder; stepfather, Greg Fisher; sisters, Stephanie Pearson and Sarah
Fisher; brother in law, Ed Pearson; and niece, Kaylee Pearson. He also is
survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeff was loved by all who knew
him for his outgoing, positive personality and will be dearly missed.
Private services will be held and he will be laid to
rest next to his beloved Nana and Knute. In memory of Jeff, please consider
donating to the Idaho Humane Society or to your favorite charity.
