Joan A. Jensen
Joan A. Jensen, 74, of Boise, went home to be with her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, February 28, 2011, while surrounded by loved ones.
Joan was born to Joseph and Hazel Christopherson on December 29, 1936 in Portland, Oregon. She was married to Dwyane L. Jensen (Sonny) on September 3, 1955. Together they had two beautiful sons, Bruce E. (Dani) Jensen and Brent D. (Crystal) Jensen. She had four grandsons, four granddaughters and eight great- grandchildren.
Joan is also survived by one sister, Sharon (Bill) Rees. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.
Joan was an awesome, loving wife and mother, whose mission was to disciple many to the Lord. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Thank you to St. Luke’s and the Good Samaritan Society for their kindness and care.
