Jolie Janay Ball passed away on
December 6th, 2019 in the peace of her own home at the age of 47 years old.
Jolie was born on July 27th, 1972 to
Richard and Linda Ball, on a United States military base in Iwakuni, Japan. The
Ball family traveled together across the country, including Virginia,
California, Washington, and Idaho. Jolie attended Cascade High-School and
eventually settled in the Treasure Valley to share life with her children,
parents, and close family.
In addition to spending time with her
family, Jolie adored reading historical fiction and mystery novels or spending
time outdoors camping or fishing with friends and family. Jolie loved to garden
and care for her many indoor plants. Friends who stopped by to visit would
often find themselves leaving with a cactus or houseplant as a parting gift.
Caregiving was a clear passion for Jolie, as she worked as a caregiver and
nurse’s assistant most her life. In her spare time, Jolie also loved
crocheting, spending time with her dogs, and showing off her precious new
grandson,
Jackson David.
Jolie was a compassionate, loving,
strong, resilient, and spunky woman. Jolie’s strong and loving spirit has found
rest with Christ her Savior and the family and friends who wait for her in
heaven. She will be deeply missed by us all.
Jolie is the loving mother of Brittany
Rude, Bryan Rude, and Sierra Rude; the cherished grandmother to Jackson
Cardoza; dear sister to Sherrie and Tim Hix; adored aunt to Christopher,
Andrew, Stephanie, and Blaine; beloved cousin; wonderful godmother to Grace
Shaffer; and a precious friend to us all.
An intimate celebration of life will be
held on Saturday, December 14
