Joyce Adair Hanley Ruparcic

Joyce was born at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, to John Stewart Hanley and Esther Emily Cooper-Hanley. She lived her entire life in Boise, Idaho.
Joyce attended Garfield Elementary School, East Junior High and Boise High School, graduating in 1963.
Joyce was active at Boise High with several activities: Scarlet Skirts 2, 3, and 4, Pepster 3 and 4, Drill Team, Sophomore Choir, Acapella, and Junior Assembly.
Joyce went on to Beauty College where she then got a job at Imperial Plaza as a hairdresser, then moved on to The Emporium in gift wrapping and later on to Costco where she did food Demo's. She loved doing that where she could meet and chat with people.
Joyce met John Ruparcic, the love of her life, on a blind date with her cousin Judy and Woody, John was stationed at Mountain Home Airforce base and would hitchhike to Boise on the weekends where Joyce would pick him up at Grant's Truckstop.
They married on April 23, 1966, and she became a full-time wife, mother and homemaker.
Joyce and John raised their two boys John (JJ) and Brian. Her family and the love of God were her whole life.
When Joyce chose to be a full- time wife, mother and homemaker she made their home a safe haven of all the stress and worries of the outside world. It was always warm and inviting and is still to this day.
She was raised in a Christian home and loved her bible classes during the week and would attend the Dawn Bible Student conventions.
Joyce loved God and his son, Jesus Christ and would talk about the coming Kingdom and how wonderful it would be.
Joyce followed, by example of her parents, and devoted herself to God.
Joyce and John spent summers with family Reunions at Wallowa Lake, Oregon always enjoying the time with family. She also enjoyed trips to the Oregon coast.
Joyce loved Crossword puzzles, Midsomer Murders, Jeepers Creepers 1 (only to peek around the corner because she was scared)
