1966 – 2013

Kati-Maria (Huoso) Anderson, 47, of Eagle, Idaho died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at home of natural causes.

Kati-Maria was born April 8, 1966 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, the daughter of Reijo and Sirpa (Saira) Huoso.

She was raised and educated in Golden Valley, Minnesota.  She lived in several different cities including Atlanta, GA, San Diego, California and Great Falls, MT before moving to the Treasure Valley where she attended Boise State University.  She graduated from Boise State with high honors with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.

At the time of her death Kati-Maria was working for the Boise Rescue Mission/City Light Home for Women and Children.  She loved her job and working with the residents gave her great satisfaction and joy.

She enjoyed many things in life, especially gardening and shopping at thrift stores where she often found “very cool stuff”.   Kati’s greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.  She was so proud of all of them and wanted to see them succeed in life.

Survivors include her daughter, Kasey Renee Jondahl, age 26, Meridian, ID;  her son, Dain Laughlin Curtis, age 16, Eagle, ID;  her father and mother, Reijo and Sirpa Anneli Huoso, Atlanta, GA; sister, Tina (Huoso) Harmon, Atlanta, GA;  granddaughters, Aurora Anneli Jondahl-Pfefferle, and Lydia Irene Jondahl-Gallegos, both of Meridian, ID;    and many family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Ave., Boise, Idaho.
